PRIVATE BUSINESS. - FOURTEENTH REPORT OF THE SESSIONAL COMMITTEE OF SELECTION.
The Sessional Committee of Selection reported that the Committee met on Thursday, 4th February, 1926, for the purpose of appointing a Deputy to act on the Joint Special Committee to consider the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Bill, 1925, in the place of Deputy Figgis, deceased. The Committee appointed Deputy Thrift on the said Committee.
Ordered: That the Report lie upon the Table.
The Committee further reported that Deputy J.M. O'Sullivan tendered his resignation as a member of the Sessional Committee of Selection. The Committee decided to request the Dáil to fill the vacancy thus created.
Ordered: That thé vacancy created by resignation of the Minister for Education be filled to-morrow.
