Vol. 14 No. 5

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CLOGHNA LANDS (CO. CARLOW).

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the Land Commission proposes to acquire the Cloghna Ranch, Co. Carlow, on the Bruen Estate, for division amongst uneconomic holders and landless men.

The lands referred to appear to be the holding in the townlands of Cloghna and Ballybannon held by Mrs. Julia Nolan as judicial tenant on the estate of Henry Bruen, Co. Carlow. This holding will be retained under the Land Act, 1923, and will be dealt with as such by the Land Commission when the estate is being dealt with by them.
