PRIVATE BUSINESS. - LIMERICK HARBOUR BILL, 1926. APPOINTMENT OF JOINT COMMITTEE.

Message from the Seanad:—
Tá an Seanad tar éis an Rún so a leanas do rith agus ba mhaith leo go n-aontódh an Dáil leis:—
"Go bhfuil sé oiriúnach Có-Choiste den dá Thigh do cheapa chun Bille Chuan Luimnighe, 1926, do bhreithniú, eadhon, Bille chun comhachta breise do bhronna ar Choimisinéirí Cuain Luimnighe chun Port agus Cuan Luimnighe d'fheabhasú agus fás do chur fútha agus chun duga, béal duga agus pasáiste nua do dhéanamh agus chun míntíreachtaí agus bancánachtaí áirithe do dhéanamh agus chun crícheanna eile a bhaineas leis na nithe sin agus chun comhachta do bhronna chun iasachtaí d'fhail."
The Seanad have passed the following Resolution in which the concurrence of the Dáil is desired:—
"That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Limerick Harbour Bill, 1926, being a Bill to confer additional powers on the Limerick Harbour Commissioners for the improvement and development of the Port and Harbour of Limerick and for the construction of a new dock, dock entrance and passage and for the execution of certain reclamations and embankments and for other purposes connected therewith and to confer borrowing powers."

I move:—

"Go n-aontuighidh an Dáil leis an Seanad ina Rún a cuireadh in úil don Dáil an 10adh lá d'Fheabhra, 1926, go bhfuil sé oiriúnach Có-Choiste den dá Thigh do cheapa chun Bille Chuan Luimnighe, 1926, do bhreithniú."

"That the Dáil concur with the Seanad in their Resolution communicated to the Dáil the 10th day of February, 1926, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider the Limerick Harbour Bill, 1926."

According to Standing Order 58, relative to Private Business, it would be in order to discuss the principle of the Bill on this motion.
