Vol. 14 No. 14

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - ACQUISITION OF NEWBRIDGE LANDS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the result of the investigations made by the Land Commission, as promised on the 28th January, 1926, are yet available respecting the following lands near Newbridge, Co. Kildare, held by Mr. Patrick Bobbett, viz., one hundred and eighty-two acres in the townland of Kilbelan, electoral division of Morristown-Billar, and eighty-one acres in the townland of Kilbelan (township of Newbridge) electoral division of Newbridge Urban; whether, in view of the fact that the numerous congests and landless men in the locality are very anxious that the lands should be divided this spring, he will expedite acquisition of these holdings.

Mr. HOGAN

The Land Commission have not yet completed their investigations as regards the lands of Kilbelan referred to.
