Vol. 14 No. 16

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - BALL DEMESNE (CO. CLARE).

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the Land Commission proposes to acquire for distribution the Ball Demesne at Ballynacally, Co. Clare, if he is aware that there is much need for the distribution of this demesne amongst the uneconomic holders and landless men, and if this consideration, and the peace of the district, will weigh with the Commission in a re-investigation of the case with a view towards acquisition and distribution.

Mr. HOGAN

The Land Commission do not propose to acquire the lands referred to. They are subject to annuities.
