Vol. 14 No. 17

WRITTEN ANSWER. - GALWAY UNTENANTED LANDS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether it is the intention of the Land Commission to let for a further period for grazing purposes the untenanted lands on the estate of Thomas F. Lewin, Castlegrove, Co. Galway, about which the Minister stated on the 23rd February, 1926, that the proposal of the Land Commission to purchase these lands had been accepted by the owner, and that a scheme for their division would be prepared in due course.

Mr. HOGAN

No letting of the lands on the Lewin Estate has been made by the Land Commission, who have not yet taken possession of the lands.
