SHOP HOURS (DRAPERY TRADES, DUBLIN AND DISTRICTS) BILL, 1926—FIFTH STAGE.

I move that this Bill do now pass.

I oppose the Final Reading of this Bill, believing it is desirable that the Dáil should have another opportunity of saying whether legislation which was only passed in the summer of last year should be entirely abrogated, in effect, and that an opportunity for peaceful development in the shop life of the city should take place, or whether we are going to challenge an industrial fight on the matter. I intend to divide the House on this.
