Vol. 16 No. 12

CEISTEANNA.—QUESTIONS. - ACQUISITION OF CO. MEATH LANDS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he will state when the lands of Bobbet, Fynestown, Kells, Co. Meath, will be allotted, and if, in the distribution of the said lands, provision will be made for Mr. John Tiernan and Mr. Thomas Ward, Orristown, Kells, who have lost their employment as a result of the acquisition of the lands of Fynestown.

The Land Commission resumed the holding of Trustees Wm. J.D. Bobbett, deceased, containing 467 acres 3 perches, in the townland of Fyanstown (Estate Marquis of Headfort), on the 3rd ultimo, and pending preparation of a re-sale scheme they have let the lands for grazing to 1st December next, when the lands will be available for division.

The question of providing parcels for John Tiernan and Thomas Ward will be duly considered by the Commissioners.
