INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL PROPERTY (PROTECTION) BILL, 1925. - SHOP HOURS (DRAPERY TRADES, DUBLIN AND DISTRICTS) BILL, 1926—MESSAGE FROM THE SEANAD.

The following Resolution has been passed by the Seanad:—

"That it is desirable that a Conference be held between members representing the Seanad and the Dáil upon the amendments made by the Seanad to the Shop Hours (Drapery Trades, Dublin and Districts) Bill, 1926, with which the Dáil have disagreed, and that the Seanad do propose that a Conference be held accordingly and that it be represented thereat by the following five Senators:—Brown, Douglas, Farren, MacGuinness and Moran."

I move:—

"That the Dáil concur with the Seanad in their Resolution communicated to the Dáil the 6th day of July, 1926, that it is desirable that a conference be held between members representing the Seanad and the Dáil upon the amendments made by the Seanad to the Shop Hours (Drapery Trades, Dublin and Districts) Bill, 1926, with which the Dáil have disagreed."

Question put and agreed to.

I move:—

That Deputies Dr. T. Hennessy, B. O'Connor, P.S. Doyle, T. Johnson and W. Norton represent the Dáil at the conference with members representing the Seanad upon the amendments made by the Seanad to the Shop Hours (Drapery Trades, Dublin and Districts) Bill, 1926, to which the Dáil have disagreed.

Ordered: That a Message be sent to the Seanad acquainting them accordingly.
