Vol. 17 No. 9

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - BANKING COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATIONS.

TOMAS MAC EOIN

asked the Minister for Finance if he intends to inform the Dáil of the nature of the recommendations of the Banking Commission, particularly in respect to its proposals regarding agricultural credit facilities, and, if so, when such information may be expected.

The Second, Third and Fourth Interim Reports of the Banking Commission, of which the Second relates to the question of Agricultural Credit facilities raised by the Deputy, are in course of printing, and will be ready for presentation to the Oireachtas in a day or two. The publication of the First Interim Report can also, it is hoped, be made within a short time.
