CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - HOME ASSISTANCE IN WEST CORK.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the number and classes of persons who received home assistance in the West Cork Board of Health area during the last six months, together with the number and classes of people relieved during the same period of 1925, with the total amount paid for each period.

According to a return received from the West Cork County Board of Health and Public Assistance 1,378 persons received home assistance amounting to £4,087 during the six months ended the 30th of September last, while 1,204 and £3,610 were the corresponding figures for the same period in the year 1925.
