Vol. 18 No. 1

THE LATE DEPUTY LEDDEN.

It is my painful duty to voice the opinion of members of the House by expressing very great regret at the death of Deputy Ledden. The late Deputy Ledden had a long and very favourable record in the National movement. He is very much missed in his constituency. He is a loss to the House, and those who were in close touch with him during the last two years realise how much the public work in which he was engaged contributed to his early death.

Deputies rose in their places.
