Vol. 18 No. 5

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ARMY PENSIONS.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will circulate to Deputies copies of the report of the Committee set up by the Minister to advise on certain aspects of pension legislation in connection with the Army Pensions (No. 2) Bill, 1926.

The Committee was an inter-departmental body set up by the Minister to advise him on the matters referred to by the Deputy. For administrative reasons I cannot agree to disclose the report of the Committee.

Will the Minister say whether there are a number of recommendations in that report that have not been adopted by the Minister for Defence?

I could not say and, if I could, I would not.
