Vol. 18 No. 9

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MILITARY SERVICE PENSION (LEIX).

asked the Minister for Defence if he received an application for a pension under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1924, from Mr. Patrick White, Rathdowney, Leix; if he will state the date on which the application was received by him, and whether he is now in a position to authorise payment of whatever amount is due in this case.

Mr. White's application has, I regret to say, apparently been mislaid. Arrangements are however now being made for the consideration of his case under the Military Service Pensions Act. The report of the Board of Assessors will not be available for some time. In the meantime, I shall not be in a position to authorise any payment to Mr. White.
