Vol. 18 No. 11

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - COMPENSATION CLAIM (CO. LIMERICK).

asked the Minister for Finance whether an application was received from Dr. M. R.ary, Gotoon House, Knocklong, County Limerick, for compensation in respect of two guns, value ten guineas, taken from him by members of the Irish Volunteers, and also for payment of fees for medical attendance on Irish Volunteers, and whether he will have the matter attended to with a view to the expedition of payment of compensation.

A claim such as that to which the Deputy refers would ordinarily be one for consideration by the Committee set up under the Indemnity Act, 1924, but there is no record in my Department of the lodgment of a claim in this particular case. If the Deputy will send me fuller particulars I will have further inquiries made.
