Vol. 18 No. 20

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MOUNTJOY SQUARE.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if it is proposed to introduce legislation to secure for the benefit of the public the opening of Mountjoy Square; if he will state the result of the negotiations in the matter between the Commissioners of the County Borough of Dublin and the Trustees of the Square.

Legislation is not proposed. It is understood that the Trustees of the Square are opposed to its being opened. My view is that the matter should be deferred until town planning has been introduced.
