Vol. 19 No. 2

FRIDAY'S SITTING.

Is the President in a position to say whether the House will be sitting on Friday?

I am not. I do not think I will be in a position to say that until fairly late to-morrow evening, but I think present indications are that we need not sit on Friday. If Deputies were generally agreed that the Friday sitting ought not to be held, I think we could ensure that it would not be held if the Second Stage of the Merrion Square Bill were left over until next week.

We can agree to leave that over.
