Vol. 19 No. 3

MESSAGE FROM THE SEANAD. - LATE SITTING.

Can the President give any statement as to when we are to adjourn if we meet on Tuesday?

The intention is to move to-day that the Dáil shall sit later than 9 p.m. and that the Order for the Adjournment be taken not later than 10.30 p.m. There is sufficient business to occupy certainly three days next week, and possibly four.

At what time does the President propose to take Deputy Connor Hogan's motion?

I propose to take that motion not later than 9 o'clock this evening. That will give one and a half hours to the motion. I think that meets with the Deputy's approval.

That was the minimum time I asked for.

Ordered: That the Dáil sit later than 9 o'clock and that the Order for the Adjournment be taken not later than 10.30 p.m.
