As no notice of motion has been given for the election of a Leas-Cheann Comhairle, and as I am not yet in a position to nominate a panel of Chairmen for this session of the Dáil, I must ask the Dáil to allow me to put in the Chair, if necessary, one of the Panel Chairmen of the last Dáil, namely, Deputy Thrift, or Deputy Séamus Murphy, or Deputy Pádraig O hOgáin (Clare).
