COUNTY COURT APPEALS BILL, 1927—FIRST STAGE.

I move for leave to introduce a Bill entitled "An Act to make provision for giving effect to the decisions pronounced by the late Edmund A. Swayne, K.C., in certain appeals which were heard and determined by him as Commissioner for the purposes of the County Court Appeals Act, 1924, but in respect of which he was prevented by his death from signing the order giving effect to his decision."

Leave granted.
Bill read a First Time.
Ordered: That the Second Stage be taken on Wednesday, 19th October.
