Vol. 21 No. 7

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - DRAINAGE IN TIRCONAILL.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether his attention has been drawn to the desirability of an extension of the Ray Road and drainage of the Ray River, in the neighbourhood of Falcarragh, Tirconaill; and whether these projects will be favourably considered either in pursuance of the general powers of improvement vested in the Land Commission or of any relief schemes which may be set on foot in the near future.

A proposal has been made for the reconstruction of Ray Road. An inspection has been made, and the subject is now under consideration. The Land Commission is not dealing with Ray River drainage.
