Vol. 21 No. 16

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - APPLICATION FOR FISHING BOAT.

asked the Minister for Fisheries if he will state why the application made in September, 1926, by James Gorman, Murrivagh, Mulranny P.O., Westport, County Mayo, for fishing boat and gear, was refused.

The loan applied for in this case was £500, and I felt constrained to refuse the application because the sureties offered by the applicant did not appear to be solvent for such a sum.
