Vol. 22 No. 5

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT IN FERMOY.

Mr. W.R. KENT

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether Timothy Coughlan, of Fermoy, County Cork, was refused unemployment benefit by the referee appointed under the Unemployment Insurance Acts to consider such applications, and, if so, for what reason.

PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to MINISTER for INDUSTRY and COMMERCE (Mr. Dolan)

My Department have failed to trace any claim to unemployment benefit by Timothy Coughlan, of Fermoy, Co. Cork. If the Deputy will give further particulars, such as the number of the insured person's unemployment book and his precise address, further inquiries will be made in reference to the claim in question and I will communicate the result to the Deputy.
