Vol. 23 No. 4

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - BLIND PENSION.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state on what grounds John Riordan, Knockeenahone, Scartaglin, Kerry, was refused a blind pension.

It was determined on appeal on 3rd April, 1928, that this claimant was not entitled to a blind pension. It did not appear, in view of the terms of the report of the Medical Inspector, who examined him on the 27th March, 1928, that he was blind within the meaning of the Blind Persons Act, 1920.
