Vol. 23 No. 4

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - BLIND PENSION CLAIM (KILLARNEY).

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health on what grounds Daniel Buckley, Kilcummin, Killarney, was refused a blind pension.

An appeal was decided in this case on the 3rd April, 1928. It was determined that the claimant was not entitled to any pension, as it did not appear, in view of the terms of the report of the medical inspector who examined his eyesight on 28th March, 1928, that he was blind within the meaning of the Blind Persons Act, 1920.
