Vol. 24 No. 4

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MOUNTBELLEW OLD AGE PENSION CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he can state why an old age pension was refused to Thomas Noone, Windfield, Mountbellew, County Galway; and whether, in view of the applicant being 72 years of age, he will have the case reconsidered.

In this case it was decided on appeal on 1st February, 1928, that the claimant was not entitled to any pension, as it was not clear on the evidence submitted that his means as calculated for old age pension purposes were within the statutory limit for the receipt of a pension. I am not empowered to reconsider decisions on appeal.
