Vol. 25 No. 3

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - TURBARY ALLOTMENTS IN CO. SLIGO.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether the Land Commission have sub-divided the bog on the Palmer Estate at Easkey, Co. Sligo; and, if so, whether he can state the names and addresses of the tenants who obtained allotments of bog on this estate.

The bogs of Caltragh and Tawnalaghta form together one large tract of turbary in the Culleens district. A scheme for the division of this turbary was prepared some time ago, but owing to disagreement amongst the persons affected it has not been put into operation. The Land Commission have the matter under consideration.
