WRITTEN ANSWERS. - ACQUISITION OF OFFALY ESTATE.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether it is the intention of the Irish Land Commission to acquire for the relief of congestion the estate of Henry L. King, Ferbane, Offaly.

The Land Commission have had the estate of Henry L. King, Ferbane, Offaly, inspected with a view to deciding as to its suitability for acquisition under the provisions of the Land Purchase Acts, and the matter is at present under consideration.
