Vol. 27 No. 2

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - DONEGAL PENSION CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he will state the reason why the claim of Mrs. Madge McGonagle, Kinnego, Ballymagan, County Donegal (Buncrana area—No. 3422) for an increase in her old age pension from 9/- per week to 10/- per week was refused, and if he will cause inquiries to be made into this case with a view to claimant's pension being increased.

An old age pension of 9/- a week was allowed in this case on the 7th July, 1927, on appeal. No appeal under the Old Age Pensions Act, 1928, has been received. I have no functions in old age pension cases except those that come before me on appeal.
