Vol. 27 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - AMENDMENT OF ARMY PENSIONS ACT.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he will state if it is intended to introduce proposals for legislation to amend the Army Pensions Act, 1927, so as to include soldiers who were in the volunteers and joined the National Army, and who now suffer from disability, contracted after 30th September, 1924, attributable to military service, with a view to giving such persons a gratuity or pension.

Legislation on the lines suggested by the Deputy is not contemplated.
