Vol. 28 No. 10

Public Business.

We will take the business in the order in which it is on the Order Paper.

I understood that there was an arrangement to take the Second Stage of the Central Fund Bill to-morrow. At the Committee on Procedure, that undertaking was given by the Government representative.

If I can trust my recollection, I think the Deputy is right with regard to the Committee of Procedure, but when the Vote on Account was passed last week and the Bill introduced, the Second Stage was fixed for to-day. There was, however, the original arrangement at the Committee to which the Deputy referred.

Mr. Boland

That is what I understood; that we were to take the Report Stage of the Resolution last Thursday, and that the Second Stage of the Central Fund Bill would be taken to-morrow.

If there is objection, we are prepared to leave it over.

Is there any objection to taking it to-day?

We would prefer not to take it to-day, but I think we will be able to manage it.

We will not take No. 5—Central Fund Bill, 1929, Second Stage—to-day. Otherwise, the business will be as on the Order Paper.
