asked the Minister for Finance whether he received the sum of £324 from G. Guy, Tuam, as Dáil Loan subscriptions from the people of Abbeyknockmoy, Co. Galway, and whether a list of subscribers accompanied it, and whether he is aware of the fact that several subscribers in this area have made repeated applications and are still unpaid.
Written Answers. - Repayment of Dáil Bonds.
Considerable sums which were received through Mr. Guy by the Dáil Eireann Department of Finance were not accompanied by lists of subscribers or by details of the amounts subscribed in particular parishes or townlands. I am not in a position to say how much was subscribed to the Dáil Eireann Internal Loan by residents of Abbeyknockmoy; a list of subscribers in that locality was not received at the time the Loan was raised. Applications from persons residing in Abbeyknockmoy will be considered by my Department in due course.
Mr. Jordan
asked the Minister for Finance whether he has received repeated applications from Richard O'Connor, Tuam, Co. Galway, for refund of his subscription, £20, to Dáil Loan; whether he received receipt (signed by G. Guy, Tuam, who collected the money) sent to his Department by Richard O'Connor, and when he intends to authorise payment of same.
The Department of Posts and Telegraphs will be authorised, at an early date, to issue a Savings Certificate which will enable Mr. O'Connor to obtain repayment in respect of his subscription.

I would refer the Deputy to previous replies to similar questions and to the statement I made in the Dáil on the 22nd June last. The claim of any subscriber who has applied in writing for repayment of his subscription will be dealt with in my Department in due course.
