Vol. 29 No. 14
I move:—
"Go gcuirtear ar ceal an tOrdú a dhin an Dáil an 5adh Iúl, 1928 (Iompar mí-ordúil leis an g-Cathaoir).
That the Order of the Dáil of the 5th July, 1928 (Disorderly conduct towards the Chair) be discharged."
I would like to say that the President should not rush in with these hasty motions. On the occasion of its introduction I accused him of having a cut-and-dried scheme of Standing Orders, but I withdraw that suggestion now. Shortly afterwards I realised that if he had thought over it he would never have put down such a foolish proposition. If he had been a member of the Committee he would have known that every time that that item was reached it was ignored.
I accept the Deputy's withdrawal.
Motion put and agreed to. Order accordingly discharged.
