Vol. 32 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Vesting of Cavan Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when it is proposed to vest in the tenants the Rathbourne estate, in the townland of Cloncivet, Parish of Drumlummon, in the County Cavan.

The estate of Bella Grace Rathbourne (widow) is being dealt with under the Land Act, 1923, and a provisional list of the 59 holdings on the estate which, if not excluded in consequence of a valid objection, will become vested in the Land Commission on the appointed day, was published on the 3rd May, 1927.

The inspector's report on the estate has been received, and the Land Commission hope to be in a position to vest the holding in the tenants at an early date.
