Vol. 32 No. 8

Written Answers. - Arenmore Estate (Co. Mayo).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he has received several memorials from the tenants on the Arenmore estate in the parish of Devlish West, Ayle, Westport, Co. Mayo, asking to be migrated or to have their holdings enlarged, and what action has been taken as a result of the receipt of these memorials.

A memorial regarding the relief of congestion has been received from tenants in the townlands of Daveleash East and West on the estate of Edward White, trustee of Lord Avonmore, and inquiry is being made into the matter Would the Deputy be good enough to repeat his question in the course of a few weeks when I hope to be in a position to state the result of the Land Commission's investigations in the matter.
