Vol. 32 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Special Road Work in Balrothery.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he has received an application from the Balrothery Council and Dublin County Council to sanction a loan of £800 for special road work, and if so, whether, in view of the present abnormal unemployment in the district, he intends granting the loan.

An application for sanction to a loan of £1,095 for the carrying out of ten special road works was received. The Dublin County Council has been informed that the works proposed are of such a character and extent as should more properly be done out of revenue.
