(Tipperary) asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he can state whether it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire the Carden Estate, Fishmoyne, Borrisoleigh, County Tipperary, for the relief of congestion in that area.

The Land Commission do not propose to acquire the lands referred to, which appear to come within the exceptions mentioned in Section 24 of the Land Act, 1923, as being Demesne land.
