asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state (1) what is the amount of money available out of the Road Fund for 1930-31; (2) how it is being distributed, and (3) what has been done with the extra tax put on motor omnibuses in the year 1929-30.

The replies are as follow:—
(1) £700,000.
(2) £335,800, approximately, towards upkeep of main roads, balance £364,200 to works of improvement.
(3) Lodged to credit of Road Fund as in the case of other motor licence duties from the total of which grants are made.
