Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Acts Operations in Wexford.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state (a) the number of estates of tenanted land in County Wexford vested to date under the Land Acts. 1923-29, their rental and acreage; and (b) the acreage and number of holdings of untenanted land taken over by the Land Commission and not yet vested within the said county under the Land Acts, 1923-29.

(a) The number of estates of tenanted land vested in the Land Commission up to the present date in County Wexford under the Land Acts 1923-29 is 62, comprising 548 holdings and a total area of 16,250 acres representing a rental of £8,617. (b) As regards untenanted land in County Wexford under the Land Acts 1923-29, of a total of 4,781 acres acquired by the Land Commission, 4,147 acres have been divided to date, among 172 allottees, leaving 634 acres acquired and not yet divided. Five parcels of untenanted land, divided under the 1923-29 Acts and comprising an area of 391 acres, have been vested in allottees in Co. Wexford.
