Vol. 34 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Tipperary Lands.

(Tipperary)(for Mr. Fogarty) asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will state if it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire the lands of Loughaliss Estate owned by Mrs. Blackney, and at present let on the eleven months system, for distribution amongst uneconomic holders and landless men of the district.

The Land Commission are unable to identify the lands to which the Deputy refers. There is no townland of Loughaliss in the printed official list of townlands, but if the Deputy furnishes more particulars inquiry will be made into the matter.
