Vol. 34 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Belfast Empire Week Celebrations.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether he is aware that during the Empire Week celebrations recently held in Belfast the national flags of all the British Dominions, except that of Saorstát Eireann, were displayed; and, if so, whether he has any information to show that this omission is an indication of unfriendliness to the Saorstát, and whether he has made or proposes to make any representations to the British or Northern Ireland Government on the subject.

I do not know whether or not the Saorstát flag was displayed during the celebrations, and I do not propose to make either inquiries or representations.
