Vol. 35 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Leitrim Estate (Co. Donegal).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he can state whether it is the intention of the Irish Land Commission to defer consideration of all applications for assistance towards the construction of drainage works and roads on the Earl of Leitrim Estate, Co. Donegal, until such time as the sale of this property is being dealt with under the provisions of the Land Act, 1923.

Over £4,000 has been already expended by the Land Commission on the construction of drainage works and roads on the Earl of Leitrim Estate, County Donegal, but, in general, applications for additional works will be reserved for consideration when the estate is reached in its turn for survey and inspection.
