Vol. 36 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - League of Nations and Minorities.

Tomás O Maoláin

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether, in view of the fact that the Free State is now a member of the Council of the League of Nations, he will state what instructions, if any, have been given the Saorstát Representative in relation to the proposed investigation by the League of the grievances of minorities.

It is my intention, while representing the Saorstát on the Council of the League of Nations, to advocate the fairest possible treatment for all the minorities whose grievances the Council may, from time to time, have to consider.
