Vol. 36 No. 7

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Nenagh Estate.

Mr. Sheehy

(Tipperary) asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when he intends to acquire the estate of General Parker, Garrykennedy, Portroe, Nenagh, and if any inspector has reported on its suitability for division, and if he is aware that a very large number of uneconomic holders and landless people have made application for land on this estate.

The lands of Garrykennedy, on the Parker Estate, have been inspected, and the question of their acquisition is under consideration by the Land Commission, who have applications for divisions of the lands from a number of small holders and landless people.
