Vol. 36 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rotheram (Oldcastle) Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if negotiations for the purchase of the lands of Newtown, Rotheram Estate, near Oldcastle, are yet complete; and, if so, when he proposes to distribute those lands.

Proceedings for the acquisition of the lands of Newtown and Knocklough, on the estate of Edward Rotheram, Co. Meath, are not yet completed. The owner has appealed to the Judicial Commissioner from the price fixed by the Land Commission for these lands, and this appeal has not been decided.
