Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Colonel Nugent's Land (Kildare).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will instruct the Land Commission to acquire the lands containing 158 acres, 1 rood, 26 perches, valuation £174 10s., held by Colonel Gilbert Nugent, in the townland of Belgard, electoral division of Balraneen, Co. Kildare, for allotment amongst the smallholders (about 10 in number) in the district.

The Land Commission have already had the lands of Belgard to which the Deputy refers inspected and it has been decided to take no action at present for their acquisition.
