Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Grain Conference in Paris.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether the Government of the Saorstát was invited to take part in the recent Conference at Paris of European Nations concerned to find a market in Europe for their surplus grain; whether any representative of the Saorstát was present; and whether the Minister has any statement to make regarding the results of the Conference.

The Government were invited to take part in the Conference recently held at Paris to find means of disposing of the grain surplus at present available in Europe. A representative of the Saorstát attended the Conference. The Conference reached no conclusions warranting a statement from me.
