Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Army Reserve Air Service.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the number of pilots, observers and mechanics (Air Service) in the Army Reserve.

There are 1 pilot (officer), 1 observer (officer), and 7 fitters (1 sergeant and 6 privates), on the strength of the Army Air Corps Reserve. Tradesmen who are normally called mechanics are termed fitters in the Army Air Corps.
