Vol. 38 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Report on Cork-Waterford Estate.

Seán Ua Guilidhe

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state what is the nature of the report made by the Inspector who visited the lands of the non-judicial tenants on the Grant Estate, Kilmurray, Co. Cork, and Inchinleamy, Co. Waterford.

It is not the practice of the Land Commission to publish the contents of reports of their inspectors.

Could the Minister give me any information for the tenants as to what it is proposed to do with this estate in view of the fact that the lands are periodically flooded?

I could not, but I shall make some inquiries and ask that a letter should be sent to the Deputy.
