Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Motor Vehicles in Saorstát.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health to state the number of (1) passenger-carrying buses, (2) motor lorries, (3) hackney motors, (4) private cars registered in Saorstát Eireann during the financial year ending 31st March, 1931; and the total amount received from motor taxation during the same period.

The motor vehicle licensing period is the calendar year. The following are the figures for the year ending 31st December, 1930:—
